As part of our activities as the Cultural Exchange Society “ippo to the world”, we have set up a ‘Cultural Exchange Session “ippo to the world” Japanese learning lounge’ as a place where routine exchange between local foreign and Japanese residents can take place.
Hitomi Takachio, our organization’s representative, is qualified as and works as a Japanese teacher, but the main purpose of this class is not to teach Japanese. Instead, this class is held as an opportunity for people to get together and interact with each other.

Introduction
of Activities -
We are a volunteer group based in Kamioka-cho, Hida-shi which organizes multicultural exchange sessions. We organize these sessions and other events with the aim of bringing foreign nationals living in the area and local Japanese residents closer together, closing the cultural gap between them.
