Re-extension of "The Special Measures District to Prevent the Further Spread of Infections"

Re-extension of "The Special Measures District to Prevent the Further

Spread of Infections" (March 4, 2022)

At this time, Gifu Prefecture's designation period as a "special measures district to prevent the further spread of infections" has been extended until March 21, 2022.

In late February, the number of new cases of COVID-19 infection showed signs of peaking but still remained high, and the utilization rate of hospital beds is still at a high level.

In order to protect yourself, your family, and society as a whole, we ask that all prefectural residents continue to stay vigilant and thoroughly implement basic infection prevention measures.

・Eating and drinking: Avoid eating with people you don't normally meet, including at home, and avoid eating and drinking in large groups or for long periods of time. (ex. welcome and farewell parties, cherry blossom viewing, thank-you parties, etc.) ※ Up to four people, for two hours or less

・Travel: Avoid non-urgent and unnecessary travel between prefectures as

much as possible. (Graduation trips, etc.)

In addition, the period of the "Demand for the Shortening of Business Opening Hours and Suspension of the Serving of alcoholic beverages, etc." to "Eating and Drinking Businesses" will be extended accordingly. (Part of the demand contents have been revised.)
