1 Target Districts 

Districts requiring intensive measures : 15 Municipalities

(Gifu, Hashima, Kakamigahara, Yamagata, Mizuho, Motosu, Ogaki, Minokamo, Kani, Tajimi & Nakatsugawa Cities and Ginan, Kitagata, Kasamatsu & Mitake Towns)

2 Requested Actions 

Restrict hours to 5am to 8pm

Do not serve alcohol

Refrain from using karaoke facilities (in businesses that are primarily restaurants/bars)

3 Dates 

Friday, August 20, 2021 to Sunday, September 12, 2021 (24 days)

4 Target Businesses 

Restaurants: Restaurants and Bars (including Izakaya), Cafes (Excluding take-out and delivery services. Wedding venues are considered equivalent to Restaurants.)

Entertainment Venues: Bars, karaoke venues, etc. operating by license under the Food Hygiene Act (excluding internet cafes and comic cafes)

5 Reward Payments  

Payment of compliance fund only to those complying for the entire period.

Small & Medium Businesses: From ¥30,000 to ¥100,000 (per location per day)

Large Businesses: Reduction in daily sales x 0.4 (per location per day)

Maximum of ¥200,000. Small & Medium businesses can also choose this option)

 

The following request for reduced hours will expire on Thursday, August 19.

Target Districts: The 15 municipalities listed above

Requested Actions: Restrict hours to 5am to 8pm (serve alcohol from 11am to 7pm)

Dates: Tuesday, August 17, 2021 to Tuesday, August 31, 2021 (15 days)

Payments: Small & medium businesses: ¥25,000 to ¥75,000 (per location per day)

      Large businesses: Reduction in daily sales x 0.4 (per location per day)

     (Max. ¥200,000 or daily sales x 0.3, whichever is less. Small & Medium businesses can also choose this option)
