State of Emergency (January 9th - February 7th)

For Business Operators

 

Strengthening & demand for the shortening of operating hours for eating & drinking businesses serving alcohol

 

・Operating Hours: Shortened to until 20:00

・Serving of Alcohol: Shortened from 11:00 until 19:00

・Extension period: Januar 12 to February 7,2021 (27 days)

・Compliance Fund:

 ¥1,080,000

 

 Inspections/investigations will be performed if needed.

State of Emergency

 

Matters that are Required of all Prefectural Residents

(1)     Avoid risky eating and drinking

v Avoid the following (regardless of the time of day, eating at home or eating out):

·       Eating and drinking with people other than your significant other or family members.

·       Eating and drinking over a long period of time

·       Eating and drinking with alcohol while conversing with a loud voice

·       Talking without wearing a mask, chatting while eating or drinking, etc.

(2)       Avoid unnecessary and non-urgent outings (Regardless of the time of day. Also, going out after 8:00PM is particularly discouraged.)

(3)       Avoid unnecessary and non-urgent travel between prefectures

Avoid traveling to the metropolitan area and 3 prefectures (Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba and Kanagawa) that have enforced a state of emergency; and to the prefectures of Aichi, Osaka, Kyoto and Hyogo to the greatest extent possible.
