Information and Support regarding COVID-19 via LINE

 Gifu Prefecture has created an official LINE account "Gifu Prefecture COVID-19 Response Personal Support" (岐阜県-新型コロナ対策パーソナルサポート) to respond to inquiries about COVID-19 from prefectural residents. The account uses a chatbot (automatic response technology). It is available in Japanese only, but can be used in other languages via a translation app.

 

1. Features of "Gifu Prefecture COVID-19 Response Personal Support" 

(1) Provision of information suited to individual needs

 By answering questions about your physical condition, age, medical history, and your postcode, we can advise you on whether you should contact a Consultation Center for Returnees and Those with Close Contact, and any measures you should personally be taking.

 

(2) Provision of other information

〇Frequently Asked Questions (automated responses to questions such as whether you are likely to have contracted COVID-19)

〇Latest information (public information about COVID-19 such as the government response)

〇Talk to a doctor via your smartphone (free of charge)

 

(3) Ascertainment of present situation via analysis of gathered data

 The data we gathered from your answers will be used to ascertain the present situation such as spread of infection. We will also use the data to work with university researchers to consider measures to prevent infection.
