Language Assistant Course for Times of Disaster

In large earthquakes, foreign nationals also suffer. Due to differences in language, culture and customs, problems arise at refuge shelters and information about the disaster cannot be conveyed.

As such it is necessary to cope with foreigners in a disaster. Through training, this course aims to have volunteers be able to help foreigners with language problems when it is important, through translating and interpreting for foreign residents and conducting consultations.
